Rode out to white pocket couple days ago
, 3-23-25.
Was my 2 nd attempt.
First time got to south paw and poverty flats, ran outta time
Deep sand riding was a concern, Was last October.
This time took the more traveled coral road, which was still
Full of silty sand , sliding all over.
Recognized every bit of your ride , which was way tougher
On those big adv bikes.
Have to group ride on those things, help each other out.
I rode solo on a wr400. Still wasn’t a cake walk.
Totally worth the effort, so cool out there. Picked a perfect
Time to go, was watching the weather.
Will go again sooner or later.

We must have been a few weeks behind you. Snow on the bikes in Kanab and we had to cut our wandering out there a little short because another snow squall was heading our way. Definitely surreal riding in that red sand with snow falling around us. Wife and daughter’s Crfs taking a quick nap It was tough going but the gang pushed through like the troupers they are.
